The Economic Pillars Alliance (TEPA) was conceived in 2021 by a collective of young professionals determined to address the socio-economic gaps facing Kenyan youth, women, persons living with disabilities (PWDs) and other marginalized groups.
Guided by the rallying cry Boresha Uchumi
(“Boost the Economy”), TEPA champions:
Today, TEPA operates county chapters, target being all 47 counties; providing civic education, mentorship programmes and policy advocacy that put people first.
To engage and empower young people socially, economically, and politically for a better Kenya.
To mobilize, mentor, and empower young people to realise their potential while championing inclusivity, sustainable development, and transparent governance.
Chairperson
Grass-roots organizer from Kirinyaga with 15 years’ experience in co-operative movements. Leads TEPA’s policy oversight and nationwide mobilization.
Secretary General
Former digital-rights advocate; oversees strategic communications and legislative liaison, ensuring youth voices influence Parliament.
Treasurer
Chartered accountant and micro-finance specialist; steers transparent budgeting and women-led community savings initiatives.
Organizing Secretary
Disability-inclusion champion, coordinates county chapters and PWD advocacy programmes across all 47 counties.
